Signing of MoAs, MOUs broadcast online in compliance with SOPs

KUCHING, Oct 8: Various Memorandums of Agreement (MoAs) and Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) were inked at the International Digital Economy Conference Sarawak (Idecs) 2020 yesterday.

In line with the theme ‘Data and Innovation in Accelerating Social and Economic Prosperity’, the signing and exchange documents was between Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation Berhad (SDEC) and its strategic partners namely Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd; Mynic Bhd, Xperanti Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd, Merdeka Waterfront Hotel Sdn Bhd and ARX Media Sdn Bhd.

Complying with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) outlined by the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), SDEC through its collaboration with Huawei Technologies Malaysia, initiated a virtual MoU and MoA signing event with various parties from West Malaysia.

SDEC’s partners gathered at Huawei Experience Centre in Kuala Lumpur for the virtual MoA and MoU signing ceremony

“The virtual MoA and MoU signing is one of the first in Sarawak which utilises SDEC’s cloud conference solution, a remote signing platform and digital conference app.

“The newly set up SDEC is entrusted to lead the implementation of Sarawak’s Digital Economy initiatives, thus the partnership with these partners will hope to spearhead the Sarawak Digital Economy Vision,” the press statement read.

Represented by SDEC chairman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani and Chief Executive Officer Sudarnoto Osman, the event was witnessed by Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg while the representatives from the participating companies were gathered at the Huawei Experience Centre in Kuala Lumpur. — DayakDaily
