KUCHING, Sept 12: Sibu Hospital will close most of its clinics on Sept 15 (Monday) in conjunction with the additional public holiday recently announced by the State government.
According to Sibu Hospital director, Dr Nanthakumar Thirunavukkarasu, only the Paediatric and Phlebotomy clinics will remain open on that day.
“These two clinics will remain open to accommodate the public, especially after the festive holidays when the number of patients usually increases.
“Although the operating hours are stated as 8am to 1pm, our staff will remain at the clinics until 3pm to assist,” he said when contacted by TVS.
He also advised patients not to delay collecting their medications, as it could disrupt treatment.
The clinics that will be closed include Endocrinology, Rheumatology, SRC, Oncology, Neurology, Gynaecology, Fetal Maternal, Rehabilitation, Dermatology, ABC/ID, Ophthalmology, ENT, Psychiatry, Dental, Radiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, APS Clinic, and Dietetics. — DayakDaily
