On Zone15 which had recorded 116 cases, he noted that most of them occurred as a result of social gathering among residents in Phase 2 of Kampung Sentosa.

“Residents are advised not to gather in group. Youths wandering on motorcycles should also stop when we lockdown the area, everybody will be prohibited to go out,” he stressed.

On the 80 new cases recorded in Sibu today, he said 39 of them were from Sibu Municipal Council jurisdiction while 20 in Sibu Rural District Council area and 19 in Sibu Jaya (16 from flats).
