KUCHING, Dec 2: Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Sheda) Kuching Branch (SKB) Home & Property Roadshow 2022 is set to deliver the latest deals and information on properties and related services under one roof.
The four-day roadshow which began on Dec 1 at AEON Mall, Kuching aims to meet the housing needs of every sector of society with over 20 booths consisting of Sheda members and non-members showcasing local and West Malaysia properties, including financial institutions, customised material and home internet suppliers.
According to organising chairman Alan Wong, visitors will be able to find offers such as an apartment selling at RM288,800 onward or a double storey terraced house from RM365,600 onward.
“Buyers who spend a minimum of RM1,000 in any of their booths during the four-day roadshow stand a chance to win a 50” Android 10.0 Smart TV with Infinity Screen and other electrical appliances in the ‘Buy & Win’ Lucky Draw, all totaling more than RM10,000 worth of prizes,” he said in a statement today.
He said Mutiara Mortgage and Credit Sdn Bhd will be providing information on Housing Deposit & Repayment Assistance Scheme (HDRAS).
He added under the scheme by the Sarawak government, Mutiara provides cash assistance of up to RM10,000 to first time home buyers from the B40 and M40 income groups as housing deposit payment or monthly financing repayment assistance of RM200 per month for up to 48 months.
Meanwhile, Sheda Kuching branch chairman Dato Sim Kiang Chiok also encouraged members of the public to dispose their old or spoiled electrical items responsibly and safely at this campaign.
SKB Home & Property Roadshow 2022 was inaugurated by Deputy Premier Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian, who was represented by his political secretary Tan Kai.
Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) Kuching Regional office, an agency by Bank Negara Malaysia is also present at the Home & Property Roadshow 2022 to advise on financial management and provide information on personal credit through Central Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS).
There will be an Electronic and Electrical Waste Collection Campaign from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, (Dec 4) at AEON Mall carpark (in front of Starbucks) in collaboration with the Natural Resources & Environment Board Sarawak (NREB), Department of Environment Sarawak (DOE) and DNS Waste Management Sdn Bhd.
Visitors who register at SHEDA booth will be given discount vouchers sponsored by F&B sponsors Izumi Bakery, Seoul Garden and Nando’s subject to availability and on first come first served basis.
Other activities happening during the roadshow include cupcake decorating and soap dough making for kids aged 5 to 12 years old on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Smart Reader Kids will also be doing some performance and Christmas crafts using recyclables activities which is open to all children from 3 to 12 years old. — DayakDaily
