KUCHING, Jan 28: Another fake social media post involving Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) has been circulating on various platforms, alleging that it is offering job vacancies.
SFC has been forced to issue a statement clarifying that a “SFC vacancy advertisement” which has gone viral on various social media platforms is fake.
In a social media post today, SFC denies having put up any recruitment advertisements on any social media page.
It states that any recruitment effort from the corporation will be make known officially through its own official social media platform and identified printed media.
“Referring to the vacancy advertisement for admission to Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) which went viral on various social media platforms recently, SFC would like to deny and insist that we have not issued any recent vacancy advertisement for the entry of Assistant Administrative Officer Grade N29 up to Public Assistant Grade N11 or other vacant positions as listed in the advertisement above.
“For information, any recruitment for career opportunities in SFC will be published through our official social media platforms as well as selected conventional media (newspapers),” said SFC. — DayakDaily
