KUCHING, Mar 23: A house at Jalan Samariang, Bukit Siol, here was damaged in a midnight blaze on Sunday (Mar 22).
In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 12.06am, and firefighters from the Petra Jaya station were deployed, assisted by the Batu Lintang station.

Upon arrival at the scene, the fire involved a two-storey semi-permanent structure house measuring approximately 30 x 40 square feet.
“The upper floor was destroyed, while about 25 per cent of the ground floor was damaged,” noted the report.
During the incident, all seven occupants of the house were reported to be safe. — DayakDaily
