KUCHING, Aug 2: The public is asked to help locate family members or relatives of Sarawakian Corrina Voon Ling Ling, who passed away on July 15 in Kuala Lumpur due to Covid-19.

Corrina, 48, who was a lecturer in Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Kuala Lumpur since 2010 left behind a 12-year-old daughter.

Her mother, Voon Kui Hiong, 71, who lives with them also succumbed to Covid-19 on July 29.

In a public appeal, lawyer Marcus Tan Kian Han who is assisting the alumni of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Kuala Lumpur confirmed with DayakDaily that he is now seeking to find the deceased’s relatives in Sarawak.

“It was learnt that Corinna is a single mother and has no relatives in Kuala Lumpur for the time being. Due to the interest of her child, we are seeking the public to help us locate their relatives in Sarawak. We are in great concern over the child’s welfare once she recovers. Therefore we hope that we can find their relatives to discuss the matter,” Tan said.

Corrina’s daughter who also contracted the virus is currently under treatment in Kuala Lumpur hospital.

According to her bio data, Corrina was a student of SMK Green Road (1990) before she took up a teaching course at Rajang Teachers’ Training College (1994-1996).
