KUCHING, Sept 29: A search is underway for 21-year-old Jeffery Masing Win, who was attacked by a crocodile while bathing with his brother at Sungai Semanok in Tatau on Saturday night (Sept 27).
According to a report by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 8.27pm on Saturday, and firefighters from the Tatau station were deployed.

Based on the chronology of events, the victim and his brother were bathing in a stream near a hut when a crocodile attacked him.
His brother tried to save him by lunging at the crocodile but failed to rescue the victim. The crocodile then dragged the victim into the river.
