One-day Christmas celebrations for Sarawakians this year.

KUCHING, Dec 18: Sarawakians are allowed to hold Christmas celebrations on the first day only with private gatherings or visits limited to 20 people at any one time.

The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) announced this standard operating procedure (SOP) for the Christmas Day celebration in a statement today.

Note that private gatherings or visits are limited to close families only.

Meanwhile, SDMC also informed that reflexology centres and blind massage reflexology are allowed to resume operations beginning Dec 21 subjected to compliance with the latest requirements.

Each premise must apply for written approval from the State Community Welfare Department in the respective division prior to operation and to submit a copy of the approval to the local authority where the premise is operating.

The State Community Welfare Department must check to ensure the premises comply with all the health and safety guidelines issued.

Operators and all workers must undergo rT-PCR test which results must be negative and valid at least three days before resuming businesses. The list of workers who have undergone tests must also be displayed.
