KUCHING, April 12: SDMC today declared that the EMCO in Kampung Serpan Laut in Asajaya as ended.
According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a press statement today, the decision was made following the results of the second screening test conducted in the area which did not reveal any new Covid-19 cases.
“Apart from that, there is no evidence that the infection is still spreading in the area,” it said.
At the same time, SDMC also conveyed its gratitude to all the relevant agencies, as well as the local residents in Kampung Serpan Laut, for ensuring the successful implementation of the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO). — DayakDaily
