Apart from food essentials, Batu Kawa Service Centre also gave away 1,000 watermelons which were donated by I B Fresh Fruits Trading.
Batu Kawah assemblyman Prof Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian urged community leaders and Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) regional heads, who have come to collect essential goods to distribute, to be more vigilant by wearing face masks and exercise 1 meter social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic period.
Sim said this during his visit to the distribution sites today.
To avoid crowd cross-contamination risk during Covid-19 pandemic period, all essential goods distribution will only be conducted by community leaders and SUPP regional heads.
