KUCHING, Oct 30: Scale Sarawak Cohort 2 entrepreneurs are ready to soar beyond Sarawak, marking a bold new chapter in local business empowerment.
According to a press release, Scale Sarawak Cohort 2 is a five-month programme organised by Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (TEGAS) in collaboration with Endeavor Malaysia.
Held from May to October 2025, the programme aimed to accelerate the growth of promising Sarawak-based ventures through mentorship, capacity building, and networking opportunities.
“Designed to accelerate the growth of promising Sarawak-based ventures, this programme delivers strategic support including one-on-one mentorship, targeted capacity-building sessions, and exclusive networking opportunities,” TEGAS stated.
The programme gathered founders from SOL Digital, Belibeli Super App, OINC, Noms Fochun Founders, Kosa Coffee, and Satok Bridge Digital for workshops, mentoring sessions, and panel reviews with industry leaders to strengthen their business models and growth strategies.
Participants also gained access to Endeavor’s global network of mentors, including Shan Li Tay of Endeavor Malaysia, Mac Chung Lynn of Nando’s Malaysia and Singapore, Zeth Lim of Verdant Solar; Zare Lee of TRAPO, Ziwei Lim of ZCOVA, and Anna Chew of Meaningful Life, who shared insights on leadership, brand building and sustainable business growth.
The two-day closing session at TEGAS Digital Village featured interactive workshops such as Understanding Your Customer and Optimising Your Sales Funnel, followed by a mentoring session with Mac Chung Lynn and a Business Panel Review that provided practical feedback on scaling and investment readiness.
Through SCALE Sarawak, TEGAS and Endeavor Malaysia continue to strengthen Sarawak’s startup ecosystem and empower local founders with the knowledge, mentorship, and connections to grow regionally and globally. — DayakDaily
