Sarawak’s daily Covid-19 toll drops to 186 cases

KUCHING, Feb 12: Covid-19 cases in Sarawak have dropped to 186 today, comprising 183 mild cases and three serious cases.

Among the total, Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) reported 107 cases in Category 1, 76 in Category 2, and three in Category 3.

The cumulative number of Covid-19 cases Statewide has thus risen to 254,026.

Kuching registered the most with 69 cases, followed by Miri with 42 and Sibu with 33 cases.

Other districts with new infections were Samarahan (8), Song (6), Kapit (5), Bintulu (4), Lawas (4), Serian (3), Limbang (3), Sarikei (2), and Beluru (2).

Sri Aman, Meradong, Betong, Mukah, and Sebauh each recorded one case.

Meanwhile, there were no reports of any new Covid-19 clusters, leaving Kampung Semeba Cluster the only active cluster in Sarawak so far.

No new Covid-19 deaths were noted in SDMC’s statement today as well. — DayakDaily
