Sarawakians required to book quarantine centres within 7-10 working days before returning from overseas

KUCHING, Dec 22: Reservations for Covid-19 quarantine centres at the first point of entry must be made within 7 to 10 working days before departure back to Malaysia.

The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said this regulation, which is effective starting today, applies to only Sarawakians returning from overseas through Peninsular Malaysia.

The management of quarantine premises will be overseen by the Sarawak State Liaison Office and reservations can be made via https://sarawakdisastermc.com/eshotel.

Meanwhile, non-Sarawakians who are long-term passes holders will have to undergo quarantine at the first point of entry which is handled by the Ministry of Health (KKM). — DayakDaily
