KUCHING, July 27: The Sarawak State Disaster Management Committee has activated its disaster operations room in all divisions in anticipation of drought.
In a statement today, the committee secretariat Major (PA) Ismail Mahedin said all operations room across the state will commence with immediate effect.
“All divisions disaster operation rooms are advised to be on guard at any time and be prepared for drought that has taken place in Kuching, Samarahan, Serian, Sri Aman and Betong,” he said.
