KUCHING, Dec 6: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has received the Recognition of Visionary Excellence at the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) Corporate Dinner 2025 held at Riverside Majestic Hotel here last night (Dec 5).
The recognition honours the minister-in-charge of SEDC for his exceptional leadership and strategic foresight in steering transformative initiatives that shape Sarawak’s economic and cultural landscape.
“Under his visionary guidance, SEDC has advanced bold strategies that foster sustainable development, strengthen economic resilience and create opportunities for shared prosperity.
“His ability to inspire confidence, attract investments and build collaborative partnerships has positioned Sarawak on a progressive path toward global competitiveness and inclusive growth,” the emcee stated.
The recognition was presented to Abang Johari by SEDC chairman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Abdul Aziz Husain during the ceremony.
