KUCHING, Nov 3: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg paid his last respects to the wife of a veteran media practitioner at his residence in Batu Kawah today.
Abang Johari and his entourage arrived at about 4.45pm and were greeted by New Sarawak Tribune associate editor Rajah Murugaiah Meyappan.
He then paid his last respects to Rajah’s wife, the late Anneta Joseph Nilachee Perumal, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Utility and Communication Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.
The late Anneta, 62, passed away at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) at 12.48pm yesterday (Nov 2).
Annetis, a former Telekom Malaysia Berhad marketing supervisor, is survived by Rajah and two children. — DayakDaily
