Sarawak Premier continues ‘Ngabang’ Gawai at Works Minister Nanta’s residence in Kuching

KUCHING, June 24: As the Gawai Dayak festive celebration comes to a close, the spirit of ‘Segulai Sejalai’ among leaders in Sarawak continues with ‘Ngabang’ Gawai activities.

Yesterday, Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and his wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Jumaani Tun Tuanku Bujang visited Works Minister Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi at his residence in Kuching.

According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, upon arrival at Nanta’s residence at 12.40pm, the Sarawak Premier and his wife were personally welcomed by the federal minister and his family.

To commemorate the visit, Nanta and his family had a photography session with their VIP guests and later exchanged souvenirs.

Also present during the visit was Deputy Sarawak Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Law, MA63 and State-Federal Relations), Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali and Nanta’s father Tan Sri Datuk Amar Leonard Linggi Jugah. — DayakDaily
