KUCHING, March 5: Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg attended the wedding ceremony of Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar’s son in Dewan Suarah Bintulu yesterday (March 4).
According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, the nuptials were between Mohammad Ali Asfia, 31, the eldest son of Mohamad Asfia and Puan Sri Datin Amar Fatimah Mohamad Iskandar, and Adriana Azmani, 25, who is also the eldest of four children belonging to Azmanni Mohammad and Sariah Matussin.
Among those present at the ceremony are Deputy Premiers Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian and their wives, and Minister of Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom. — DayakDaily
