KUCHING, June 17: Sarawak Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) questioned the Federal government whether the Long Busang clinic had become another ‘white elephant’ project.
In a statement today, its information chief Abun Sui Anyit said the RM3 million project in Belaga started construction in 2015 and was scheduled to be completed on July 24 this year.
“There are no signs that construction will resume even after the country has entered the endemic phase.
“When will the Long Busang clinic be completed? Will it be ready according to schedule?” asked Abun Sui.
He added that residents of Long Busang hoped that the Federal government could resume the clinic’s construction immediately. — DayakDaily
