Sarawak PH: National politics stable, talks of Prime Minister losing support misleading

Senator Abun Sui Anyit

KUCHING, May 4: National politics is very stable and all talks about Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has lost support is misleading, says Sarawak Pakatan Harapan (PH) information chief Senator Abun Sui Anyit.

He said national stability is proven with Istana Negara’s recent statement that the Malaysian government can only change through vote of confidence or no confidence in the Dewan Rakyat, or the dissolution of Parliament.

“Therefore, other talks that the Prime Minister has lost support is an act to mislead the people and the people must reject those parties who spread false and baseless news like this.

“This is because any method outside of the above two methods (mentioned by Istana Negara) will not destabilize the unity government led by Prime Minister YAB Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim,” said Abun Sui who is also a Senator in a statement today.

He advised the opposition to provide constructive criticism for the sake of rebuilding the country rather than making futile efforts raising issues alleging that Anwar is losing support. — DayakDaily
