KUCHING, Aug 11: The Sarawak and Perak governments have reiterated their commitment to strengthen their cooperative relationship, particularly in the areas of development, security,y and border management.
According to the Office of the Premier of Sarawak, the matter was among the focuses of Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad’s courtesy call on Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg during the Perak delegation’s working visit to Sarawak on Monday (Aug 10).
The meeting took place before a dinner held at Kompleks Satria Pertiwi, where the Premier also had the opportunity to meet with Saarani and the Perak delegation.
Among those present were Sarawak Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah; Sarawak Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki; and Perak Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim. — DayakDaily
