KUCHING, April 29: In observance of Labour Day, all museums and forts under the Sarawak Museum Department will be closed on Wednesday, May 1.
According to a notice of closure posted on the Sarawak Museum Department’s Facebook page today, the Borneo Cultures Museum, Sarawak Museum (Old Building), Islamic Heritage Museum, Natural History Museum, Chinese History Museum, Fort Alice, Sri Aman House, Miri Petroleum Museum, Niah Archaeological Museum, Limbang Museum, and Fort Hose will be closed for one day.
“The museums and forts will reopen to visitors on Thursday, May 2. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regrettable,” read the notice. — DayakDaily
