Sarawak logs 14 new Covid-19 cases

KUCHING, Jan 31: Sibu and Limbang districts reported three new Covid-19 cases respectively, bringing the total number of daily cases in Sarawak today to 14.

This showed a steady decline for the third consecutive day after recording 29 cases on Jan 29, 2022 and 18 cases yesterday.

According to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement today, Kuching, Miri, and Bintulu reported two new cases each, while Samarahan and Selangau recorded one case each.


This brings the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in the State to 252,823.

Of the 14 cases, seven are under Category 1 (asymptomatic) while another seven are under Category 2 (mild symptoms).
