KUCHING, May 14: The Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUS) has unanimously passed the Supplementary Supply (2025) Bill, 2026, allowing an additional expenditure of RM26,089,146.00
on the fourth day of the DUS sitting today.

The Bill’s Second Supplementary Estimates of Ordinary Expenditure, 2025, was tabled by the Deputy Premier of Sarawak and Second Minister for Finance and New Economy, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.

Uggah noted that the additional expenditure is to meet the cost of various services incurred by various ministries and departments for which funds were not provided or insufficiently provided in the 2025 Estimates.

The additional allocation is to meet the following Heads of expenditures, Head P001 (Land Infrastructure) RM150; Head P002 (Riverine Infrastructure) RM30; Head P003 (Government Buildings) RM40; Head P004 (Public Buildings) RM1,761,250.00; Head P005 (Public Utilities) RM60;
P007 (Land Compensation and Residential Extension) RM30; Head P009 (Industrial Development) RM10; Head P011 (Local Authorities and Housing Development) RM60; Head P013 (Public Finance) RM60; Head P014 (Planning and Development) RM30; Head P015 (Knowledge Society) RM6,286,806.00; Head P016 (Drainage and Irrigation) RM10; Head P017 (Forestry) RM10; Head P018 (Tourism) RM10; Head P021 (Crop Agriculture) RM30; Head P026 (Housing Redevelopment) RM20; Head P027 (Women and Family Development) RM10; Head P028 (Natural Resources and Environment) RM195,000.00; Head P029 (Special Projects) RM17,739,400.00; and Head P031 (Development of Transport Sector) RM30. — DayakDaily
