KUCHING, Dec 21: Sarawak continues to keep new Covid-19 infections low with all 31 cases recorded in 10 districts classified under Category 1 and 2, with no deaths reported today.
With that, the cumulative cases of Covid-19 in Sarawak now stands at 252,064 cases and death toll remains unchanged at 1,614.
Of the new cases, the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in its daily update on the Covid-19 situation in Sarawak reported that there are 10 cases under Category 1 without symptoms and 21 cases under Category 2 with mild symptoms.
As for the breakdown of the cases, Kuching recorded 10 cases, followed by Lawas (7 cases), Sibu (6 cases) and Miri (2 cases).
Bintulu, Lundu, Serian, Tanjung Manis, Tatau and Subis recorded one case each.
Currently, there are no active clusters in Sarawak. — DayakDaily
