KUCHING, April 11: The Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) has introduced a digital complaints channel that allows the public to channel complaints more effectively through WhatsApp.
Called ‘JKR Sarawak CARE’, the public only need to send their complaints to the number +6011-70171777.
According to a press release, Sarawak JKR director Dr Cassidy Morris said that initiative was developed as a proactive step to strengthen two-way communication between the people and Sarawak JKR.
At the same time, it aims to increase the effectiveness and efficiency in the management and response to any complaints received.
JKR Sarawak CARE is an addition to the existing complaints channels, which includes TaliKhidmat, e-mail (corporatejkr@gmail.com), and Facebook.
“Sarawak JKR remains committed to ensuring that every complaint received is given due attention in order to improve the well-being and public facilities for all Sarawakians.” — DayakDaily
