KUCHING, Jan 19: Forestry Department Sarawak (FDS) has received a Silver Award as recognition for its commitment and effort in cultivating integrity and good governance practices.
According to FDS, the award was presented by Deputy Prime Minister Dato Sri Fadillah Yusof to FDS director Datu Hamden Mohammad during the inaugural Integrity, Governance and Anti-Corruption Awards (AIGA) 2022 held yesterday (Jan 18).
Meanwhile, Hamden said FDS is proud to have achieved this high recognition for its commitment and culture of continuous integrity practices that have been implemented all this while.
He added it is a starting point to ensure that all entrusted forest management and care are carried out better in its commitment to balance the speed of development and environmental sustainability in Post-Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030. — DayakDaily
