KUCHING, May 5: Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn says that he has no issues with students and teachers wearing sports attire due to the recent hot weather.

Sagah commented that it was a Federal policy and that he supported it, as it is under their purview to implement the regulation.

According to a recent news report, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has issued a circular granting special permission for students and teachers to wear proper sports attire in school due to the current hot spell the nation is facing.

MOE elaborated in the circular that it made such a decision in order to avoid health issues resulting from the hot weather.

“It is up to them as to what sport attire they want to use, as long as it is decent and appropriate,” he told reporters when asked about the circular during a press conference today.

“It is a norm already, it is not a new thing as long as you are appropriately dressed. It is not a big problem.” — DayakDaily
