Sarawak can look at Hungary’s SmartHub concept, digital technology in property devt

KUCHING, Nov 21: Local developers can look into Hungary’s SmartHub concept and its utilisation of artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) to develop residential and commercial properties in Sarawak.

Hungarian Ambassador to Malaysia, Attila Kali, and senior embassy officials held a business to business (B2B) meeting with the Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Sheda) council members here today, where the embassy introduced the SmartHub concept to the local property development companies.

According to the a statement from Sheda, the embassy also shared on the country’s integrated marketing and management methodology cum solution to both commercial and residential development.


“This development incorporates AI and IoT capabilities that could be readily adoptable to complement different generic system that are currently available in the market, in which the Hungarian companies can assist and value-add to the development of local property industry,” the statement continued.

The ambassador’s official visit to Sarawak was in respect to the 50 years diplomatic relations between Hungary and Malaysia.

During the meeting, Sheda updated the embassy on the prevailing market trends and the status of property development in Sarawak.

“The meeting also provides an opportunity for Sheda to establish cordial relationship with the Hungary Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, and a platform and avenue for Sheda members to explore potential B2B opportunities with the property development associates in Hungary,” the association said. — DayakDaily
