KUCHING, July 29: The National Month 2020 and Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign was celebrated by Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) in a simple event full of patriotic spirit yesterday.
Officiated at by state Bomba director Khirudin Drahman, the event witnessed the attendance of several assistant directors, department heads, Kuching area fire station chiefs and other senior officers at the state Bomba headquarters in Jalan Setia Raja.
Assistant director (operations) Tiong Ling Hii also presented the Jalur Gemilang flag to all zone heads and fire station chiefs.
The event also saw limited attendance in compliance with the standard operating procedures (SOP) under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO).
Among those present were assistant director (fire safety) Mohamad Fauzi Moht Kifli and assistant director (fire investigation) Amran Jusoh. — DayakDaily
