Sanitisation operation held in Kuching city centre

KUCHING, April 6: A sanitisation operation using fumigation was conducted in the city centre here this morning.

The operation which kicked off at 9am was conducted by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), together with the Ministry of Health (MoH) Sarawak and Kuching North City Hall (DBKU).


A total of three locations — Tua Pek Kong Corner of Good Hope, Ewe Hai Street, and Carpenter Street — were sanitised using a mixture of water and bleach with a 1:10 ratio.

Also present at the operation was Federation of Chinese Associations of Kuching and Kota Samarahan president Datuk Richard Wee. — DayakDaily
