Salcra’s newly launched book highlights contributions to socio-economic devt of S’wak’s rural areas

KUCHING, Jan 8: Sarawak Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority (Salcra) launched a book highlighting its contributions to the socio-economic development of rural areas in the State.

According to Salcra in a statement today, the book titled ‘SALCRA: The Empirical Details of Its Contribution To The Socio-Economic Development of Rural Sarawak’ was launched by its chairman Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom, who is also Minister for Food Industry, Commodity, and Regional Development (MFICORD) during an annual appreciation dinner held at Bajo Training Centre in Lundu recently.

The book is a significant milestone as it is the first-ever comprehensive study conducted by renowned academicians from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas), Dr Nwanesi Peter Karubi and Dayangku Norasyikin Pengiran Tejuddin, about the Authority.
