Sabati hands over RM2,000 assistance cheque to PPDK Sri Aman

SRI AMAN, Sept 21: Members of the Association of Wives of Ministers and Assistant Ministers of Sarawak (Sabati) member Datin Simba Nalang hands over RM2,000 worth of cheque as assistance fund to Sri Aman Community Rehabilitation Organisation Centre (PPDK).

Sabati said the cheque goes with the donation of a Covid-19 prevention kit as a kind gesture to provide aid and contribution to the organisations in need during the pandemic.

PPDK then took the opportunity to thank Sabati for generously channeling assistance in the form of finance and goods.

“Gratitude is also extended to the Sarawak government for successfully maintaining racial harmony and unity even during the MCO (Movement Control Order) period,” it said in a statement today.

Present at the cheque presentation ceremony in Kompleks Penyayang Sri Aman was also Simanggang assemblyman Datuk Francis Harden Hollis. —DayakDaily
