Rural projects costing RM5m being implemented in Bekenu — Sibuti MP

MIRI, May 4: The implementation of Rural Transformation programmes (RTP) projects in Bekenu is proceeding smoothly.

The allocation of RM5 million for these projects was approved by the state government, said Sibuti MP Lukanisaman Awang Sauni.


He said this during a ceremony to present direct grants worth a total of RM504,500 to 138 villages and longhouse in Bekenu zone on Thursday. The money is meant for community activities in the various settlements.

The handing-over ceremony was held at Bekenu Community Hall. — DayakDaily
