MIRI, July 25: A man’s visit to a toilet this afternoon was cut short when he stumbled upon a python inside a flushing tank.
According to sources, prior to the incident, the man had entered the toilet of a government building at Jalan Bintang, when he spotted the head of the reptile darting out from the tank and attempting to bite him.
He managed to escape being bitten and ran out from the toilet, before alerting the building’s person-in-charge.
The Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) was promptly contacted for assistance.
Three APM personnel rushed to the scene and captured the two-feet long snake to secure the area in less than 15 minutes. — DayakDaily
