KUCHING, June 28: Retail prices of RON95, RON97 and diesel will remain unchanged from June 29 to July 5.
In a statement today, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) said ROM95 would remain at RM2.05 per litre, RON97 at RM3.37 per litre and diesel at RM2.15 per litre.
“To protect consumers from the increase of global oil prices, the government will maintain the ceiling price of RON95 at RM2.05 per litre and diesel at RM2.15 per litre, even though the market price for both products has increased above the fixed ceiling price,” MOF said.

The government, it added, would continue to monitor global crude oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure the welfare and well-being of the people are safeguarded. — DayakDaily
