KUCHING, Aug 19: A temporary road diversion will be implemented at Jalan Simpang Tiga here nightly from Aug 19 to Sept 18, 2025, to facilitate tree cutting works.
Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro) in a notice today said the diversion will take place daily between 9pm and 4am for a duration of one month.
The public is advised to be cautious when driving in the area and to adhere to all traffic management measures, road warning signs, and speed limits to ensure the safety of road users and construction workers.
“Sarawak Metro will duly notify the public of any changes regarding this notification,” the statement said.
Motorists are also urged to plan their journey accordingly.
