KUCHING, May 24: There will be road closures affecting several roads here in conjunction with the Kuching City North Commission (DBKU) Criterium Race 2.0 on Sunday (May 28).
In a statement today, DBKU revealed that the road closures will be done to facilitate the race cycling route from 6am to 2.30pm.
The roads involved are Jalan Tun Datuk Patinggi Haji Abdul Rahman Yakub, Jalan Astana (the road entering MASJA),the Datuk Menteri Abg Hj Mohd Zen Hj Salleh roundabout, the small roundabout leading to Masjid Jamek, the traffic lights near Datuk Menteri Circle Hj Mohd Zen Hj Salleh roundabout and the back road of Kampung Tunku RPR Phase 2.
Members of the public are advised to plan their journey and adhere to traffic management procedures as well as instructions from DBKU and the traffic police on duty on the day.
