KUCHING, April 5: A temporary road closure will be implemented in both directions in front of SK Paon Tembaga at KM 38.3-KM 38.4 Jalan Lundu-Sematan tomorrow (April 6) from 10am to 12pm to make way for bridge beam installation works.
In an advisory notice today, Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak Branch has advised road users to plan their journey towards their destinations in advance and to try to avoid the area until installation works have been completed.
It also reminded motorists to be extra careful when approaching and travelling along the stretch and to comply with all traffic management instructions for safety purposes.
JKR Sarawak Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak Branch apologised for any inconvenience caused, and will update the public should there be any changes in the date, time or area involved with the road upgrading and repair works.
