KUCHING, Aug 20: A temporary road closure will be implemented along Jalan Salim New Airport Link (Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce) in Sibu Division from Aug 23 to Oct 24, 2025, to facilitate road repair works.
According to a notice from the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak, the closure will be in effect daily from 8am to 6pm throughout the repair period.
The department said the closure is necessary to carry out road damage restoration works to improve safety and driving conditions along the busy stretch.
Motorists are advised to plan their travel in advance and remain cautious when passing through the construction area.
