RM883k allocated for road upgrading works in Serian district

SERIAN, Dec 11: A sum of about RM883 000 will be spent for the upgrading of roads to Ayer Manis school, Taman Pasir, Taman Cosy and Taman Kakai, here.

For the upgrading of the road to Ayer Manis school, a sum of RM200, 000 was allocated under this year’s Rural Transformation Project (RTP).

For the other three projects, RM682, 766 was allocated.


Today, Bukit Semuja assemblyman John Ilus witnessed the handing over of the projects to Armada Construction at Taman Pasir, here.

“All the projects will complete in February next year and with the completion, it will bring great convenience to the people in the area,” John said.

He hoped that the local community will fully corporate with the contractor.

At the same time, he also hoped that the contractor will deliver the projects properly based on the specification.

Hw pointed out that the government was committed to upgrading infrastructure like road resurfacing in housing estates in the division. -DayakDaily
