RM865,500 business tithes from Agrobank, Petronesa

KUCHING, Jan 24: Agrobank and Petronesa Sdn Bhd presented business tithes totalling RM865,500 to Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg here today.

The ‘zakat’ payment, for the year 2019, was presented by both company representatives in a simple ceremony held at Wisma Bapa Malaysia.

Abang Johari received the mock cheques on behalf of Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak.

Agrobank’s business tithe, amounting RM399,000, was presented by its chief operating officer Zahid Ahmad Zawawi, while Petronesa was represented by Datuk Seri Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki to hand over its business tithe of RM466,500. — DayakDaily
