KUCHING, April 28: Sarawak’s civil servants will receive RM500 as special assistance for Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Gawai.
The Chief Minister’s Office in a statement today said the special payment will be paid next month before Hari Raya Aidilfitri and the upcoming Gawai festival.
“The assistance is appreciation to the contribution and sacrifices of the civil servants in carrying out their responsibilities and delivering services to the people in these challenging times.
“The government hopes that the special assistance for Aidilfitri and Gawai this year can reduce the financial burden of the civil servants as well as be an incentive for them to continue to serve with dedication,” the Chief Minister’s Office said. — DayakDaily
