KUCHING, Nov 14: The completion of a new multipurpose hall in Kampung Tarat Melawi will facilitate the organisation of community activities to benefit local residents.
According to a report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, the multipurpose hall was officially declared open by Assistant Minister of Modernisation of Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development Datuk Roland Sagah Wee yesterday (Nov 13).
The Tarat incumbent also expressed his hope that with the completion of the hall, the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) would organise various community activities.
The multipurpose hall was built at a cost of RM350,000 with funds allocated under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP). — DayakDaily
