It also includes support for JKKK and association activities, education and sports programmes, the purchase of administrative equipment, and the provision of basic community facilities, such as public toilets.

“I hope these contributions will help ease the financial burden on the organisations involved, enabling them to carry out their respective duties and responsibilities more effectively for the benefit of the community,” he said during the presentation ceremony held at a hotel in Kapit recently.

At the same time, Nanta, also the Minister of Works, reminded all JKKKs and associations to uphold the principles of accountability, transparency, and integrity in managing the assistance they receive.

He also stressed that close cooperation among committee members and associations is essential to ensure that every ringgit allocated is spent prudently, in accordance with the stipulated needs and purposes, and delivers tangible benefits to the community.

“To me, this assistance is not merely financial support, but also a shared trust and responsibility to further strengthen the development and well-being of the people of Kapit.

“Congratulations to all recipients. May these contributions be put to the best possible use for the benefit of the community and the progress of our constituency,” he said. — DayakDaily
