JKR Sarawak director Datu Ir Cassidy Morris conducted a site visit on Wednesday (Feb 25) to inspect the damage, assess the current condition, and gather detailed information on the cause of the incident.

The visit was intended to ensure that repair efforts could be carried out swiftly and effectively.

As a safety precaution, JKR Sarawak has temporarily closed the affected lane to facilitate repair and stabilisation work.

Authorities emphasised that this measure is necessary to prevent accidents and allow restoration works to proceed smoothly.

The public and road users have been urged to exercise patience, follow all safety signage, and remain cautious while travelling near the interchange.

JKR Sarawak expressed appreciation for the cooperation of all parties in ensuring the safety of motorists during the repair period. — DayakDaily
