KUCHING, Oct 23: Residents of Kenyalang Park and surrounding areas are encouraged to take advantage of the Program Jualan Rahmah Madani Bergerak at Kenyalang Park Community Hall tomorrow (Oct 24) to purchase daily necessities at affordable prices.
Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng said the programme, scheduled from 10am to 3pm, offers residents an opportunity to save on essential household items amid rising living expenses.
He welcomed the initiative, saying it provides practical support to families who are managing their household budgets carefully.
“With families having to manage their spending carefully, programmes like this provide practical support by making essential goods more affordable and bringing them closer to our neighbourhoods,” he said in a statement today.
Wee encouraged residents in Kenyalang Park and nearby communities to visit the community hall and make full use of the savings available through the programme.
He also urged residents to spread the word among their family members, friends and neighbours to ensure more households could benefit from the initiative.
“We hope residents will make time to come to Kenyalang Park Community Hall and benefit from the savings available. Please help spread the word so that more households can benefit,” he added.
