Raja Permaisuri Agong returns to Pahang today after 4-day official visit to Kuching

KUCHING, Dec 8: Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah has left for Pahang today after her four-day official visit in Kuching.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Her Majesty’s arrival at the Kuching International Airport (KIA) at 8.23am was greeted by the Sarawak Premier’s wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang.

Among others at the airport were State Deputy Secretary Datu Dr Sabariah Putit, wife of Deputy Premier of Sarawak Datin Enn Ong Siok Ean, wife of Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datin Zuraini Abdul Jabbar and wife of the Sarawak Government Secretary Datin Sri Baduyah Bujang.


Following her arrival in Kuching on Sunday (Dec 4), Her Majesty visited Puncak Borneo Prison Complex in Jalan Puncak Borneo, and later attended the Food Over Fire Festival & Theater at Fort Magherita in the same evening.

On the second day (Dec 5), Her Majesty paid a courtesy visit to Tan Sri Datuk Amar Abang Haji Ahmad Urai’s Heritage House in Jalan Muda Hashim.

On the third day (Dec 6) Her Majesty attended the Borneo Textile Symposium Series 2 Gold Leaf Ceremony, at the Pullman Hotel on the third day, including officiating the Juma’ani Pavillion in Jalan Gersik Kuching. — DayakDaily
