KUCHING, March 10: Phase 2 of the Rural Water Supply (BALB) project in Puncak Borneo is currently in the tender document preparation stage by the consultant.
Deputy Prime Minister-cum-Minister of Rural and Regional Development Dato Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the documents must be prepared before implementing the Value Engineering Lab (VE Lab) in the second quarter of this year.
Therefore, he said, the BALB project is expected to be tendered in the third quarter of this year, according to a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas).
Zahid Hamidi was responding to a question by Puncak Borneo MP Datuk Willie Mongin about the project status in Parliament on Wednesday (March 8).
The Value Assessment Lab (VA Lab) for the BALB project in Puncak Borneo was completed on July 29, 2022. — DayakDaily
